Delete your MidPoint account

You can delete your MidPoint account without installing the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Your nickname, profile picture, friends, invites, notifications, device record, push token, coin balance and purchase records, stats, single-player history, suspension appeal and diagnostic records are permanently deleted.

What is not deleted, or stays for a while:

• Matches you played, including the answers you gave in their rounds, remain in your opponents’ history — but your name is not shown; an anonymous record takes its place. The reason: a match belongs to two people, and deleting you would make the other player’s match count, win rate and season points wrong.
• Objections (feedback) you sent about questions and answers are kept, but unlinked from your account. If you wrote your own name in the text, it stays in that text; you can ask us by email to remove it.
• Reports other players sent about you are not deleted, so that deleting and recreating an account cannot reset moderation. Reviewed reports are kept for at most one year. If you create a new account from the same device, these reports are associated with the new account.
• Your account may remain in server backups for up to 30 more days. If a backup is ever restored, your deletion is applied again.
• Copies of your profile picture cached on other players’ devices are outside our control; it is deleted from the server, but we cannot delete it from those devices.

If you have a recovery code

Enter the code you generated in the app under Settings › Account › Recovery code. The account is deleted immediately.

If you do not have a recovery code

Email your request to [email protected]. Include your nickname and discriminator (for example: Ali#4718) so we can find the account. Requests are resolved within 30 days.
